About

A contractor built to be easy to work with.

Artistek Builders exists because hiring a builder shouldn't feel like a gamble. Same crew, same standard, same phone number — from a single bathroom to a ground-up home.

Why we started

The problem we set out to fix.

Ask anyone who has remodelled a house and you'll hear the same three complaints: the price moved, the schedule slipped, and nobody would tell them why. Rarely is the carpentry the issue. It's the communication.

So we built the business around the parts that usually get skipped. Estimates are itemised by trade instead of handed over as one number. Allowances are called out separately so you can see exactly where your own selections will move the total. Change orders are written and approved before a tool comes out of the truck.

None of that is complicated. It's just discipline, and it's the difference between a project you'd recommend and one you'd warn people about.

What we're good at

Structural work and finish carpentry — the two ends of a build that determine whether it lasts and whether you like looking at it. In between we lean on licensed trade partners we've worked with for years, not whoever quoted lowest that week.

We work throughout Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln and the surrounding Placer County, California, and we deliberately keep that radius small. Being close by is what lets us be on site the morning a problem shows up.

Verify us before you hire us

Our California licence is CSLB #1084208. Look it up — check the status, the bond and the classification. We'd encourage you to do this with every contractor you're considering, including us.

How we work

Four things we hold ourselves to.

Not slogans. These are commitments you can point at mid-project if we ever fall short of them.

  • Straight answers

If a change costs more, you hear it from us the day we find it — with the number attached. No surprise line items at the end of the month.

  • Written scope, itemised

Every estimate breaks out labour, materials and allowances so you can see exactly what you're paying for and compare it honestly against another bid.

  • One accountable builder

You get one point of contact who is actually on the job — not a salesperson who hands you off to a crew you've never met.

  • Finished means finished

We don't call a project complete until the punch list is signed off and the site is clean. The last five percent is the part most people remember.

Next step

Talk to the person who'll run your job.

No call centre and no commission-only salesperson. When you get in touch you're talking to the builder who will actually be on your project.
